Instead of making a birthday card for my dad I decided to make a birthday music box. I found the music playing mechanism in a Tiger shop and decorated a perfect sized box for it to sit in.
I made a birthday greeting using a frame stamp and stamped the greeting inside. I cut the frame out and used Stickles glitter glue on the edges. I then attached it using foam pads.
The layered flower I made from white fabric and added some ribbon behind a gold bead as a flower centre.
To give it some more detail I added some blue gems as well.
I had to cut some of the lid off for the music mechanism to fit.
I glued the music mechanism to the bottom of the box using hot glue.

ReplyDeleteTack! Jag blev superglad när jag hittade speldosan. Jag hade aldrig sett dem säljas omonterade innan jag hittade den här men nu har jag till och med hittat en annan affär där de säljer omonterade speldosor med en mängd olika melodier :)
