Poppy Layered Flowers

I've spent a few hours making lots and lots of Poppy layered flowers to have conveniently available in my craft stash. I will make more in different colours but started with the colours I use the most, pink and white. 

I think that the fabric is called acrylic satin, a material perfect for melting the edges. 

I always leave my layered flowers without acentre so that I can add what ever suits my projects. However, I added a flat back pearl as an example of how the flowers could look with a centre piece. 

I also made two flowers in a beige mesh-y material (if anyone knows what this material is called, please let me know)
