Asian inspired gilding flakes card

Some time ago I went to the wonderful Glitterpot store and saw very nice card displays where they had used gilding flakes. I was curious to try the technique and this is one of the first cards I made.

It is a shame that the reflection from the flakes is difficult to catch on camera.

Hunkydory decoupage cards

I made these cards using Hunkydory decoupage. I do regret not using more layers for the background paper. It usually makes a better result.

3D decoupage cards

I have amde a few cards using 3D decoupage. On some I added a greeting but I left most of them empty so that I can add the appropriate greeting for any occasion when needed.

Decoupage Easter Cards

Using die-cut decoupage is fun, easy and quite effective. The decoupage is from Hooby Craft, I cannot remmeber which brand.

A bunch of birthday cards

March and April are busy birthday months in my family.
Sister and nephews, grandmother, aunt and sister-in-law :)

Unfortunately my workload has increased greatly lately so I cannot spend much time crafting :(
But luckily there are ways to make nice cards without spending to much time!

I made three cards using the same stamp but varied the colours and background paper. I used watercolour pencils to colour the stamps.

I also made a card using different cup-cake staps that I coloured with watercolour pencils.

I also made a birthday card that turned out to be very simple. I never used it though so it's stored in my back-up cards box for times when I don't have time to make a card.
